Sterotypes are when you have pre-defined ideas stuck in your head. There are many types of sterotypes such as, race, gender or culture based sterotypes etc.

There are many types of sterotypes but today I will share about the general sterotypes. We always differentiate between gender by saying boys prefer cars and girls prefer dolls. Sterotyping is just wrong because even boys can like dolls and girls can prefer cars.

Another sterotype is people differentiate so much about age such as, only a 10 year old can join the hockey club and an 8 year old can’t.

Sterotypes are wrong as we all have pre-conceived notions and we are always not sure if those ideas are always right. Sterotypes don’t allow you to share your talents, ambitions, dreams, learnings etc. They also hide who you actually are. Hence, we should avoid sterotyping and allow everyone to achieve their full potential.
