There lived a boy named Anand. He was 8 years old, and he lived in Mussoorie. He was an extremely loving and caring child. He had eyes like a butterfly. Anand was the tallest child in his class. He was also an ace swimmer.

One day when Anand was going for a short morning walk, he saw a wonderful waterfall. It was a very beautiful sight. The fragrance of the vast greenery was very therapeutic. The ripple in the waterfall was very soothing to watch. Everyday the boy used to go to out for a morning walk and gaze at the water and see how each drop of water created such soothing waves.

Anand told his mother about the beautiful sight that he saw every day. Anand insisted on going to the waterfall, and soon they planned a picnic there. Just then, when everyone was eating and relishing their food, a thief came and took Anand’s mother’s purse. Anand’s father saw that someone the thief and called out loud. Out of fear, the thief started running and fell into the stream. Anand’s father got a rope and rescued the thief. The thief realized from his mistake, and he stopped stealing from that day on. Anand realized that kindness is the key to a beautiful world. It is contagious and we can be instrumental in making this world a better place to live.
