Enjoy! Happy Reading!

Mr. Chintu was a very absent-minded teacher. He was probably in his 50’s. He was told that he will retire from school next year. Mr. Chintu used to wear brown glasses that he lost frequently. Sometimes it used a whole lesson to find his glasses. Mr. Chintu was a very fun teacher to be with as he used to mix up English with Math and sometimes even Science.

Mr. Chintu was a person who liked dark and dull clothes. He was quite thin, and very tall. His eyes had big black circles around them.

Everyday school started at 9 am. One day Mr. Chintu forgot about school, hence, after his morning walk, he stopped down at the shop to get some flowers for his garden and had his breakfast at his neighbour’s house. Back at school everyone was wondering where Mr. Chintu was…. “Hey, do you know where Mr. Chintu is?”, said some children that were trying to find out.  The bus driver replied, “No, I don’t know where Mr. Chintu is.”

Mr. Chintu turned up at 1 o’clock, and felt bad of how late he was, school was almost over and today was also the day of early dispersal.

Mr. Chintu decided to start his lesson without wasting 1 minute.

“Today we will be learning Math. We will be learning how to round off numbers....”, he said. Of course, they were meant to do Hindi, but Mr. Chintu mixed up again!!
