There are three types of Biodiversity:

1. Genetic - It refers to the variation among the genetic resources of the organisms. For Example - every human looks different from each other. Similarly, there are different varieties of rice, wheat maize, etc.

2. Species - It refers to the variety of different types of species found in a particular area. For example, there are different species ranging from plants to other microorganisms

3. Ecological - This refers to collection of living and non-living organisms and their interacting with each other. For example, the variation in plants, animals and humans living together and connected by food chain.
